Cosmostation Wallet to end wallet services, keep only seed phrase and private key export from Sept. 1, 2026

Cosmostation Wallet said it will discontinue wallet services across its iOS app, Android app, and Chrome extension. Under the plan, starting Sept. 1, 2026, the wallet will retain only two functions: seed phrase export and private key export. All other functions will be phased out and will eventually become inaccessible. The team said the shutdown does not affect user assets themselves because Cosmostation Wallet is a non-custodial wallet and funds remain on their respective blockchains rather than being held by the wallet provider. Even so, users need to take action before the deadline. Cosmostation said users should back up their seed phrases or private keys in time and move to another compatible wallet if they want to continue managing and using their assets after the service is discontinued. The announcement covers the iOS, Android, and Chrome extension versions of the wallet.
